Orientation Programme
Gateway2uk Education helps you adjust to your life abroad beginning at the moment you land in the U.K. and continuing throughout the school year. A full range of orientation services is provided, from airport pick-up to advice on everything from opening a bank account to shopping in London and, of course, anything having to do with immigration.
Housing
As a Gateway2uk Education student, you'll have two housing options; an apartment near campus either on your own or with other students or a "home stay" - living with a London family in Ealing. Of Course, if you have family in the area you can choose to stay with them! Whichever you choose, the Gateway staff will make sure that you're safe and happy in your new home.
Immigration
Gateway2uk Education staff will help you every step of the way in your student visa process. We will help you complete the necessary paperwork then you first apply, and help you maintain your visa status after arrive in the U.K.
Student Advisor
Each Gateway2uk Student is a assigned a student advisor someone you can count on for answer to the many questions that life in a new school and country can bring. Your student Advisor can help you with everything from questions about U.K. culture to an unexpected challenge in one of your classes.
Medical Care For Overseas Student
Overseas students enrolled on course of more than six months duration are entitled to free hospital treatment through the U.K. National health service provided they first register with a local doctor.
Part Time Employment
Full-time students may work up to 20 hours a week during term-time, and any number of hours during vacations. The college provides an advisory service to students seeking part-time work.
Visa Extension
Overseas students requiring visa extension during their stay at the college should submit their passport to the College International student's team, who may guide them in applying for visa extension.
Bank Account Reference
Gateway2uk will advise and assist student on the procedures for opening a bank account in London.
